Lu (Celine) Cai

Lu Cai is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where she currently works on the YouTube Shopping Ads as the Tech Lead Manager. With a robust background in software engineering, Lu has dedicated her career to enhancing digital commerce and optimizing complex systems. At Google, she has taken on leadership roles in Google Payments, Youtube Commerce, and YT Shopping Ads, with great contribution to the development of critical infrastructure and features, as well as mentoring team members to grow in career.

Before joining Google, Lu honed her skills at BloomReach(a big-data SaaS startup) where she played a pivotal role in developing and maintaining large-scale systems. She was instrumental in creating and refining tools such as a web-crawler system and search engine system, which improved the performance of services for major online retailers.
