FAQ

Who is qualified to join this program?

Any young professional seeking professional or personal growth is welcome. Please note that to ensure the quality of the program, we can only accommodate individuals who can consistently attend in-person meetings in the Bay Area. See time commitment details below.

Who are the mentors in this program?

Our mentors are accomplished professionals, including executives, senior leaders, and technical experts in fields such as software engineering, data science, machine learning, semiconductor design, business, biotech, finance, real estate investment, supply chain management, project/product management, and marketing. If you have a specific field of interest, please indicate it in your application so we can try to match you with a suitable mentor. In addition to the group mentor, the team benefits from various specialized advisors who offer diverse expertise and guidance.

How will I benefit from this program?

You will have opportunities to connect with and learn from mentors and fellow mentees, develop both soft and technical skills, and build strong, meaningful relationships. Your experience will largely depend on your proactive engagement and humility. We recommend approaching the program with these qualities to make the most of the experience.

What is the time commitment for this program?

Mentees are required to attend four program-wide in-person events, including the kick-off and graduation. Additionally, you must attend eight monthly in-person meetups with your assigned mentor and fellow mentees. The format of these meetups will be determined by the mentor. Optional additional meetups may be arranged at the mentor’s discretion. Please only apply if you can commit to these requirements, respecting our mentors' time.

How much does this program cost?

Upon acceptance, you will receive details on paying a $100 deposit. There will be at least twelve events in total. If you attend at least ten of these events, the deposit will be refunded after the graduation event. This deposit ensures active participation and contribution. All mentors volunteer their time and efforts, and additional donations, while appreciated, are not required.

Do I need to study Buddhism to participate in this program?

No, a background in Buddhism is not required. We welcome participants from all faiths and religious backgrounds.
