Vivian’s academic achievements are complemented by her certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt, highlighting her expertise in statistical-driven approaches and process optimization. Currently, she serves as a Process Development Engineer II at Illumina, where she has been instrumental in process engineering and manufacturing technology transfer for the NextSeq 1000/2000 systems.

At Illumina, Vivian’s role involves overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on the highly regulated medical device industry. Her meticulous attention to detail and passion for innovation enable her to excel in bringing up manufacturing processes and navigating complex engineering challenges. Vivian's experience also includes developing an imaging processing and classification algorithm for vision quality control during her internship at Illumina, further showcasing her technical versatility and commitment to advancing biotechnology.
